Loving and Taking Care of Your Body

We often times admire other bodies but we don't take time admiring our own. I guess it is about the right time that we look at our bodies and start admiring it and give everything it needs. You can never really like your body if you don't take time looking at it at a different perspective. It is just about the right time that we start paying attention to our body's needs, meeting the needs and take care of them.

Here are tips we could make use of to start taking care of our body and start liking them:

Enough sleep: Getting enough sleep is the best way to take care of our skin. It is as essential as a balanced diet and is better than any moisturizers and other skin care products. As long as you have gotten enough sleep everyday then there is no doubt you will develop a healthy skin which will eventually add to your beauty. If you have difficulties sleeping you need to try hard and practice this everyday to get your body clock ready and tuned in.

Be grateful: If someone admires your body or even just the perfectly fit arms or just your fat free belly, you have to be grateful and say 'thank you.' Do not ignore the fact that somebody admires your body. By letting these compliments sip through your heart you will then be able to appreciate your body. Caution however, do not ever let those compliments in your head. People admire you because that is what they see in you and they would want you to see that for yourself too.

Let go of bad habits: There isn't any habit that is not unbreakable. These bad habits are present because we allow them to. If you want to love and take care of your body then I suggest you ditch all those habits which will bring your beauty down the drain. Do not let things like this happen. You are given your beauty to cherish and treasure, always remember that.

Body build does not matter: Being beautiful is not about weighing 100 pounds or 200 pounds for that matter. If you have got this positive attitude that you are beautiful, happy and confident, you will be able to love yourself as it is, no more no less. It is not something to regret. It is something to be proud of and taken cared of. It does not matter what you think to yourself. Now pull up your chin and smile your most beautiful smile.

Eat right, drink right: It is not only healthy skin that you can get with eating right and drinking right. You can also get healthy over all. What is beauty if you don't take care of it the right way? Staying healthy in and out does not only give you the benefit of long life, it will also give you the benefit to do what you love and reach what you dream of.

Positive thoughts: As it is being said that 'it is all in the mind,' do you know how powerful your mind is? Thinking about positive thoughts will not only give you a nicer outlook of life. It will also give you a beauty that really comes from within. Don't you ever wonder why people who are always happy have this radiant different beauty? This is because they think positive thoughts which give them that positive aura.

Body treats: It is not a bad idea to take a break from the hustle and bustle of life as it is when you treat your body once in a while and enjoys the luxury of tender, loving, care spas or massage. You can also even enjoy eating what you want every once in a while.

Truth is, nobody can really make you truly beautiful but yourself. There is not one product that can give you the satisfaction of over-all beauty. It happens and all you need is to care.

I understand the frumpy feel of being a new mom. I have definitely been there and done that! For some reason, in our heads once we have a baby we forget about the fact that we are women and we need to nurture and celebrate that we are still a woman.

I learned a long time ago that in life it is the little things that make the biggest difference. This is especially true in all things pertaining to motherhood. The little things do not have to cost a fortune. There is no need for them to; they are just simple things that make a big difference. This is a list of tips you can implement to help you feel sexy and more confident.

My first tip for you is to create a daily ritual to care for yourself. This is time for you, time to take a shower, put lotion on and do your hair. While you can do this ritual anytime during the day, try to do it in the morning. Even if it is only a ten minute habit, it can transform the way you feel and help get your ready to face the day. Really nothing can make you feel sexier than being clean, fresh and soft. These are simple little things that can make all the difference in the world.

Tip number two: Go buy a sexy nightie. I know you look in the mirror and go 'yeah right'! But I am serious; it doesn't have to be see through or skimpy, just cute or sexy. Come on, close your eyes and imagine the feel of the cool clean silk sliding over your body in your favorite color, maybe red! As a new mom, you will probably be spending a lot of time in your nightie in those initial days and weeks, so the next time you are picking up diapers make sure that you pick up a sexy nightie for you.

Tip number three: Exercise and get fresh air. Yes, it may seem hard in a sleep deprived state to even contemplate exercise but I promise you that you will feel better. Start out slowly, since you really need to focus on conserving your energy to speed your recovery from labor and the birth. Contrary to popular belief, complex, difficult and expensive programs have not been shown to be any more effective than a simple walking program for general conditioning. A simple walking routine in the early weeks and months after labor can positively affect a range of problems from depression and anxiety, to diabetes and constipation.

Tip number four: Wear perfume or scented lotions. Simple floral or citrus scents can really enliven the senses. Warm scents such as vanilla are comforting and soothing. Wearing perfume or scented lotions not only wake up your senses, but your husband's as well! There is undoubtedly a strong connection between feeling good and smelling good. Smell can definitely help 'bring the sexy back' and put a little energy back in your relationship.

Tip number five: Have lunch or dinner with friends. Part of bringing sexy back means remembering what it is like to be a woman and there is no better way than chill with your friends and have girl talk. Even if your friends don't have kids, hanging out with them for a while is a nice way to focus on you as a woman and not you as a mom.

There are so many simple things that you can do each and everyday to help reconnect with the sexy side of you. These are just a few ideas that I wanted to share to help you embrace each day as a new mom.

Tomato Excellent For Skin Care

Tomatoes are of great help for your skin. If you happen to go in the sun and in that span of time you get tanned, there is an easy solution. Prepare cucumber and tomato juice mixture to be applied on the affected areas of your skin. Keep it for 10 minutes; later wash it off with clean water. You will notice the difference.

Anyone can have skin rashes and the main reason for these rashes is silicon deficiency. This problem is overcome by having good amounts of sprouts, tomatoes and other vegetables and fruits.

Make a mixture of honey and tomato juice to be applied on your face and neck. Wash it off after 15 minutes and within minutes you would see a glowing face in front of the mirror.

Another recipe for glowing skin is the mixture of 2 tsp tomato juice and 4 tsp curd. Apply it well on your skin and wash it in 15 minutes to see the difference.

This recipe is for all those people who have oily skins, open pores and blackheads. Tomato has a acidic trait which also contains potassium and vitamin C which helps in cleansing the face. Rub a sliced piece of tomato on your skin and leave it for fifteen minutes. This would help the pores. Later wash it off with water.

For a good complexion spread the pulp of tomato on your face daily. Keep it for 1 hour and then wash it off with warm water. If done regularly the results will be seen.

The tomato lotion helps in shrinking the enlarged pores and this can be made by using tomato juice mixed with 2 or 3 drops of lime juice. Apply this solution on your face and then wash it off for 15 minutes.

A great recipe to remove sunburn can be made by adding 2 tsp tomato juice in 4 tbsp of buttermilk. Apply it all over your skin. Wash it off after keeping it for 1/2 hour.

You can easily make a homemade cleanser by using tomato and milk. Use tomato juice by straining the pulp and mix it with equal parts of milk. Store this in a bottle which can be refrigerated to be used everyday. Apply this on your face and neck by using your fingertips. Keep it for 10 minutes and later wash it with cold water.
